We had a wonderful week’s stay with three of our adult children at Westwind 402. The condo was very warm and cozy and comfortable. Lovely to come back to after a day’s skiing on the mountain. We made full use of the hot tub and gym also.

This place was so homey and comfortable- it was perfect for our family of 4 with two kids and the grandparents. Amazing location. Property was dated but comfortable couches, loved the balcony with slopeside views and the fireplace right there. So cozy! I’d rent again.

Superb location and the place felt super roomy for a larger group of people. The stairs were super narrow which was tricky with two infants and luggage, but the upstairs was wide open once you made it up there. We did go during an unseasonably hot time of year and the place was a bit toasty, but they were well prepared with lots of box fans which made a big difference! Overall it was a great location for our family and the pictures were super accurate of what you get. We would definitely stay here again.

For a 3 bedroom in the heart of Lionshead village it is a great value place. It is definitely on the older side and there are signs of wear and tear throughout and the condo was very hot in the warmer months. Overall, a good place to stay

Great location and very comfortable. Some furnishings were dated/basic but beds were new and super restful. Property was clean, ready and as pictured. Perfect for family of 4 (3 boys) for a lacrosse tournament in Vail. It’s not a “brand new” place but extremely functional for family stay. Really enjoyed the stay and appreciated the host’s responsiveness to any questions. It is a 4th floor (slow building elevator) and no AC so be prepared to open windows in the summer. Not a big deal and always cooled off at night. Thank you!

Great place to stay for closing weekend in Vail! Conveniently located a 5 min walk to the gondola and having two parking spots was lovely. The upstairs rooms were very warm, couldn’t get it below 75 degrees. We didn’t have the heat running, we left the window wide open, and had the ceiling fan running. We also didn’t report this issue since we stayed only two nights so it’s possible a resolution could have been available. We would def stay here again!

Westwind 402 is as advertised. The location is in the heart of Lionshead, walkable to the slopes, restuarants, and Vail transit. The photos of the condo, as well as the view from the balcony are accurate. It was the perfect size for our family of 6.

Great condo in a great location. Enjoyed the outdoor heated pool and hot tub. Excellent seating for a large family in living room and dining. Note that the there is a communal grill downstairs but not in individual units - that is really the only thing we missed. Very happy with this condo and hope to be back. Thank you!

Great place to stay. Location was perfect especially for the Lionshead Oktoberfest. However was a little hot, maybe have some fans especially for the rooms upstairs. Everything else was perfect and had a great time.

The Westwind is a great location in Lionshead village and fabulous staff. We had plenty of room for our family, a fully equipped kitchen, and view of the mountain. COVID-19 safety precautions were enforced - masks in the lobby, elevators and parking garage. My son and I loved the hospitality and knowledge of the reception staff as well as the visiting dogs (only allowed in the lobby not rooms).

Great place to stay. Lots of space for my family of 6. Pretty Mountain View from window. Fireplace was a nice touch. Super affordable. Close to ski rentals and lifts. Basically right in Lionshead village which is super convenient. Easy walk or bus ride into Vail Village. I would
love to stay here again.

This Westwinds Condo #402 was just wonderful. It was sparkling clean, spacious, and fabulous for a family to spread out and relax. There were ample couches and table space. The kitchen was very well-appointed and all the appliances worked. The beds were very comfortable and although it was warm, there were fans in every room and box fans to help with creating white noise. The condo was accessible to the Village and we were able to park right out front with bikes on the car, not needing to worry about garage clearance. The pool and hot tub were great, with towels provided and nice water temperature. A small grocery store is within walking distance which included a liquor store. Checkin at The Landmark was easy. There is an incredible gas-powered grill on the first floor in the courtyard where we grilled some wonderful steaks.
We enjoyed our visit very much.

This place was awesome, we really enjoyed it. Lots of room to spread out. The kitchen has everything you need and because we stayed 6 nights we had daily service, which helps when traveling with teens. The only issues we had - and they are minor - is that the front door sticks making it very hard to open and the humidifier was broken which is a must in CO winter. Superficial complaints really, everything else was perfect.

Being on the top floor of the building, the place was a bit hot during peak summer. I highly recommend opening all the windows during the day so you can close the windows at night because the highway can be a bit noisy. The place has a few of quirks, mainly from being outdated but it works overall. I would say the place is definitely ideal for winter.

Our Vail trip was excellent! Thank you! We truly enjoyed our stay. Your place was perfect. The location amazing, you can walk to everything, incredible view from your balcony outside the living room. Your furniture and beds were very comfortable. Anything you need you can walk to from the little market, restaurants, adventure park, gondola, shopping, and hiking right outside your place. Maid service amazing, easy check-in and out. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely place! Of course, we will be back for sure!

This is a very roomy condo in a very beautiful and convenient location. The pool is nice. I appreciated the washer and dryer and full kitchen. It’s right next to a playground and fountain that kids can play in. The building has a cute courtyard with tables and chairs and a fire-table. It’s close to the shuttle into Vail, or a very pleasant 10-15 minute walk. I hadn’t anticipated so much interstate noise, which made it hard to sleep (there’s no AC & it got pretty hot with the windows closed. However, they’re high quality windows...so if you’re there when it’s cooler outside, you could close the windows and the noise wouldn’t bother you.)

The building is very close to the Lionshead gondola. The unit is large and in good shape. They have completed remodeling the common areas including a new hot tub (spa). My only suggestion would be a little better description of the check-in process. The management office is in a building next door. They were very nice and helpful but it would have been confusing if we had come in late at night.

Great space! Big open family room and we loved the fireplace. One downside is that the walls are thin so we heard our neighbors while we were trying to sleep. But the location is fantastic and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again. Thanks!

We had a great time. We slept four in the unit's three bedrooms and were very comfortable. The unit has a great view of Vail Mountain. We didn't dine in but used the microwave and coffee maker.

We loved the location of the condo! You walk out the door off of the parking garage and you are right in the Lionshead Village with shops, restaurants, and bars. Also the transportation department where you can hop on a bus and go to Vail is a short walk from the condo. There are lots of places in Lionshead to rent a bike and bike the trail from Lionshead to Vail, which is a nice ride. We liked the large living room area and comfy living room furniture. The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils and pans etc. The condo is older and much of it is outdated, we didn't really mind since this condo is less expensive than the newer and more updated ones in the Village. There isn't air-conditioning in the condo so we did get hot at night. If you open the windows, there is quite a bit of road noise from the nearby busy road so we didn't want to open windows. The housekeeping service is VERY light and not everyday. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location and cost were the most important thing to us.
