Best of Wailea Ekahi at 47B
Wailea Ekahi Village is a really special place - from the beautiful Pool Pavilion and smaller quiet pools, to the direct access to one of the best beaches on Maui, and the walkability to Wailea restaurant and shops - this is by far my favorite place to stay in Maui. We have been staying at Ekahi for over 10 years, and have stayed in units across the property, and it never disappoints. We recently had the chance to stay in 47B, and it has been the best unit we have ever stayed at in Ekahi. It feels brand new, with excellent updates throughout. The kitchen is really nice, with great appliances, and is well stocked with kitchen essentials. The bathrooms are also nicely updated, and the bed in the master bedroom is super comfy. There is also a pull-out bed in the main living area, but we didn’t need it during our stay. The real showstopper for me is the expansive Lanai just off the living room. There is so much room outside to have dinner, play some games, do a little early morning work from tropical paradise, or just sit with a cocktail surrounded by a beautiful landscape. 47B is really close to two grilling areas if you want to do some grilling, one right next to the parking area for the unit, and another just across the greenway next to one of the quiet pools. The quiet pool is really nice to have nearby. I love the Pavilion Pool and the access to the beach from the Pavilion, but sometimes it’s nice to just relax with a book or float around in the smaller quiet pools, so it is really nice to have it nearby! This unit is also stocked with games, beach chairs, a cart to wheel everything down to the pool or beach, a cooler, and other things you might need. And everything was really clearly labeled throughout. I will definitely be back to Ekahi, and I plan to stay at 47B whenever it's available from now on!
