Montaneros 408 is an elegant 1,375 sq ft platinum-rated three-bedroom, three-bath condominium located on the 4th floor of Montaneros in Vail, offering partial views of Vail Mountain. The spacious layout is perfect for groups or families, providing a luxurious and comfortable retreat. The master bedroom, situated on the second floor, features a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, along with charming French doors opening to the living room and mountain views. The second bedroom includes a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The third bedroom has two twin beds that can be converted into a king and an ensuite bathroom with a shower-tub. The living room boasts vaulted ceilings and Vail Mountain views, complemented by a queen sofa sleeper. The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances, including a refrigerator, oven, and microwave. The dining area accommodates six, with additional seating for three at the kitchen counter.

This property exceeded our expectations in almost every regard. The location could not have been better ….. even better than advertised in regard to mountain access and access to the village amenities.The facility and staff were amazing from management to maintenance to room upkeep. We will do what we can to book this facility for the days we plan to ski in Vail this winter

High Quality Experience!

great location close to gondola and children's ski school
We have stayed in Montaneros for many years we find the location to be excellent. The unit was exactly what we needed for our busy and active family.

Great Location
We have never stayed in Lionshead and I was a bit nervous about the location. These reviews never provide enough of that context. I think access to the mountain and lifts is more important than the Mountain. If its a headache to get there. This condo had a great mix of location (600 feet to Gondola), with Starbucks, the liquor store, Mexican, Thai and Barbecue maybe less than a one minute walk away. The ability to head back to the Condo for lunch or a break with a little one made it. Overall the condo was nice - a bit on the smaller side but the ski room downstairs WITH BOOT WARMERS was a huge benefit. The condo owners had a lot of 'locked' owners closets which was kind of annoying - particularly the washer dryer. I would not do over 6 days in the condo with three kids but it was perfect for a long weekend. Usually we load up the groceries and eat in but the proximity to the restaurants made our only need - grab and go breakfasts - using leftovers to fill in other needs. Check out the Mexican Restaurant in the neighboring building - that and the Thai place's food really stood out. We thought the "Tavern" was meh and overpriced. Finally - Vail Resorts - whats going on with the outdoor rink - the rental skates' blades were so dull they were borderline dangerous. Get your act together. Anyway - Condo location was perfect for a family to easily get to/from the lifts (even in ski boats). When we go back to Vail - we will stay in this condo again for sure (unless someone else with more money is picking up the tab :)).

Great Stay in a Fantastic Location
This is a great property in the middle of Vail Village walkable to everything you need during your stay. The amenities of the building are fantastic including a boot/ski room and hot tub. This is a great place for up to 6 adults (2 per room) with added space for folks on the pullout in the living room.

Very nice unit in Montaneros complex at Lionshead
Unit is as described. Very convenient to lifts, gondola, etc. Ski room is a nice feature (oh, and so are the heated bathroom floors in the unit!). Complex management were very accommodating as well.

Great Condo!
We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was exactly as advertised and we had everything we needed for our stay. The pool/hot tub were great and the location was awesome.

Policies
Off-Peak (April 1 – December 20): 10% of the reservation total is due at the time of booking (non-refundable). The remaining balance is charged 14 days prior to arrival.

Holiday (December 21 – January 2): 10% of the reservation total is due at the time of booking (non-refundable). The remaining balance is charged 60 days prior to arrival.

Winter (January 3 – March 31): 10% of the reservation total is due at the time of booking (non-refundable). The remaining balance is charged 60 days prior to arrival.
Off-Peak (April 1 – December 20): Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable.

Holiday (December 21 – January 2): Reservations cancelled within 60 days of arrival are non-refundable.

Winter (January 3 – March 31): Reservations cancelled within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable.
Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM
Guests are not allowed to bring pets. Sorry, no exceptions.

One vehicle included per reservation (garage parking).

Additional vehicles: use Town of Vail parking structures (fee applies).

Front Desk

Open 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. during peak winter and summer.

Hours may vary in spring/fall.

Late arrivals: pick up keys from Landmark lock box (code provided in confirmation).

Taxes & Fees

Tax: 10.8%, subject to change.

Resort Fee: 6.5% taxable, covers property services.

Residence Protection Plan: $69 per reservation, covers accidental damage up to $1,500 (must be reported before departure).

Housekeeping

Daily trash and towel service.

Stays of 5+ nights receive a full clean with linen change on day 4.

Excessively dirty units may incur an additional cleaning fee (minimum $500).

Pack ’n Plays available upon request.

House Rules & Guidelines

No smoking or pets (penalty: minimum $500).

Quiet hours: 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. (no loud or disruptive behavior).

Wildlife: No trash left outside; bears are active.

Ski boots: Not permitted indoors, use ski lockers.

Do Not Disturb: Staff must enter if the sign remains on for more than 24 hours.

Occupancy: Only registered guests allowed; exceeding limits (including infants) leads to penalties.

Supervision: Adults responsible for children’s behavior and safety.

Fines: Up to $500 for policy violations.

Fire Safety: Units equipped with extinguishers, smoke, and CO detectors.

Garbage disposals: Do not use for grease, glass, bones, fruit peels, or paper.

Private Residences: Respect all owner belongings and keep unit items inside.

Liability: Guests assume full responsibility for personal property and safety.

Travel insurance strongly recommended, especially in winter.
