This was our second time at this spot and we absolutely love it and will be back again. We stayed in other condos on Maui and this one is by far the best. I was in awe every time we walked through the front door. Breakfast and drinks on the Lanai while playing Crib, yahtzee and reading books were the favourite part of our vacation. Plus can never get enough swimming with turtles right in front of us and walking the pristine beach. Plus the pool and hot tub that are never busy. We walked one morning along the trail in from of The Four Seasons, Grand Wailea and the Fairmont and wondered why anyone would stay there where the beaches are busy and you are packed around the pool like sardines fighting for spot. The Makena Surf is a hidden amazing gem. Thank you so much!

This is a very quiet complex with lush landscaping. The view looking over the lava rocks and sandy beach was wonderful. We snorkled directly from the beach to the rocky area and saw many large and small turtles and pretty blue fish. Stunning sunsets and lots of whales. The condo was very clean and well stocked and Jayne was very accommodating and responsive. A relaxing vacation.Since we don't watch "regular" TV much, having smart TV's would have been nice. Also, the beds were way too soft for our backs. Thank you for sharing your pretty condo.

Our beds are routinely replaced with firmness based on most popular configurations. We have a medium firmness with a luxury pillow top from Stearn and Fosters top line currently in the condo. This unit was everything we expected and more. The location, of course, was ideal and the unit itself was well outfitted with everything we needed to take full advantage of all that Makena has to offer. This is a lovely condo with amazing views from the balcony. The kitchen is beautifully appointed with everything you need to prepare a meal. Jayne was very responsive to our questions/needs. The beds were a little soft for my husband and me, but our daughter thought they were great. All in all, a really wonderful stay, and we've stayed in many condos at Makena Surf over the years.

This condo was perfect for our family! We loved the location and amenities of Makena Surf -- especially the short swim to wonderful snorkeling. Everything was clean and the owners had thought of everything, even a garlic press in the kitchen, boogie boards, etc.! The beds are comfortable, the view is breathtaking, location of this condo is very quiet but central at the same time, and the owner, Jayne, is extremely helpful and responsive. We can't wait to come back some day!

This two bedroom, two bathroom condo was nicely decorated with an amazing lanai view of the ocean, sunsets and plenty of whale watching. We enjoyed using the outside grill and the kitchen was well supplied for our cooking needs. The owner provided beach chairs, umbrellas and toys for kids with only a short walk to the wonderful Sandy beach. This property is amazing and we will stay at Makena Surf again.

The beautiful oceanfront condo was a perfect place to relax for a week in Hawaii. The property was well stocked with everything we needed. The location is great, with direct beach access and close proximity to numerous restaurants. There is a walking path in front of all the beachfront resorts that we walked on daily. It’s a short drive to get there and is the most beautiful walk we’ve taken, overlooking the ocean and beaches. Whales were east to spot from the balcony. We had a couple minor issues that were immediately addressed. Great communication with the condo owner and the local property manager. I highly recommend the property.

This condo is one of the best places we have stayed on Maui, and one of the best Vrbo experiences we have had. The condo has everything you could possibly need and more - right down to the candles when the power goes out thanks to a tropical storm! It is beautifully decorated and bedding is extremely comfortable. The Makena Surf property is well maintained, and perfectly situated out of the way with its own beach, but close enough to all of the Wailea amenities with a short drive. And finally, we have never felt more welcome and had such amazing responsiveness when needed from a property owner in all of our travels. Our family had a wonderful vacation and will definitely be returning in the future to this property.

What a beautiful property! We opened the front door and were greeted with an amazing view of the ocean. Everything in the condo was top notch and high quality. The beds were so comfy, the kitchen a dream to cook in, and the deck captured our attention day and night. Seriously - we all spent more time on that deck than we have at any vacation rental. The Makena Surf property is beautiful, including the two beaches on each side. Quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to restaurants and shopping. Jayne was super responsive every time I had a question. This is definitely paradise ! I would stay her again with no hesitation whatsoever!

This unit at Makena surf was spectacular! The unit is updated, nicely decorated and was very clean. The views were unforgettable, especially for the amazing sunsets! The proximity and easy accessibility to the two uncrowded beaches on either side of the property were very convenient. We snorkeled almost every day right off the beach, the reef is beautiful and the sea turtles were everywhere! This property was so amazing that we barely wanted to leave to explore other parts of the island. The unit is well equipped with everything you'll need. The kitchen has all the dinnerware and cookware needed including spices and basic pantry items. There are towels, beach towels, boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs and umbrellas, We also rented an adjacent 3 bedroom condo to accommodate our family of 10 that was just as fantastic! We will definitely come back here on our next trip to Maui!

Our stay at Makena Surf c-103 was awesome from check-in to check out. Great amenities and easy access to a beach area that was never super busy. The property management company was super helpful and whenever we needed something they helped us out right away. Close enough to different activities but still isolated enough that areas were never busy. Highly recommend staying at Makena Surf properties.

The view from this property is amazing. Watch the sun rise and set from the balcony. Short walk to Chang's beach and great snorkeling with the turtles from the reef along the shoreline. Loved this condo. Well kept, stocked good. Views were exceptional. Easy access to beautiful beach that had minimal crowds. My wife loved being able to watch the whales right off the Lanai! Our family of four (including 2 kids ages 5 and 8) had a wonderful stay at this Makena Surf condo. The condo was beautiful and included everything we needed for our week at the beach. The location was perfect. We made good use of the provided beach chairs, beach towels, pool noodles, tennis racquets, boogie boards, and snorkeling equipment. We thought we would sightsee most days, but we loved the property so much that we spent most days at the condo, pool, and beach. Some of our favorite things included snorkeling with the sea turtles and watching humpback whales from the lanai. We have stayed at various places on Maui and this condo is by far our favorite. We are already planning our next visit!

This property was stunning, especially the spectacular view of the ocean from the lanai! It was the perfect place to escape for our family of 4...plenty of space for our family of 4 and it had everything you would need for a relaxing beach vacation. The gourmet kitchen and pantry were well stocked and having beach towels, beach chairs, and an umbrella to use offsite was such a plus! Communication with our host, Jayne, was so easy. This place was amazing! The layout and amenities were perfect. Walking into the house you have an unobstructed view of the Pacific with Molokini crater and Kaho'olawe off to your left and the southern tip of West Maui to your right. The wife and I spent most evenings on the patio watching the sunset and keeping track of the turtles. Speaking of the turtles, if you don't take advantage of snorkeling in what is literally your backyard, you are missing a great opportunity. The Wailea/Makena area is our favorite on the island, so this property was ideally located. You're only 30 to 45 minutes from Paia or Lahina should you want to explore those areas. But you don't have to leave to enjoy a beautiful and relaxing beach, great nearby shopping, and delicious dining options. We didn't want to leave, but when we do come back we will be staying here.

Your unit, however, is the most spectacular one we've ever rented! It has it all. The thoughtful amenities and lovely design of your home, along with the gorgeous grounds of Makena Surf, made our vacation one we'll never forget. We cooked in the fabulous kitchen, snorkeled off the beach, boogie-boarded, watched NBA finals, napped on the oceanfront lanai to the sounds of the ocean, swam with turtles, ran down along the Makena coast, and ended our days in the hot tub. The ability to walk to our favorite beach in a few minutes?! It was perfect and we couldn't have asked for anything else. Already planning our next stay. Thank YOU!!

I'd give this place 10 stars if I could! The condo itself is beautiful. It is extremely well maintained and exceptionally clean. (I am not easy to please with cleanliness!) Jayne is a wonderful hostess, always quick to respond to my questions! The condo is stocked with everything you could possibly need down to the tiniest details such q tips in the bathrooms to "chip clips" in the very well stocked kitchen. There are plenty of beach supplies (towels, chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards). We were even able to take advantage of the property tennis courts using the rackets in the hall closet. The condo had plenty of space for my family of 4, which includes twin 18 year old girls. The beds were very comfortable (which is important on vacation!). The views form the large lanai were spectacular! Every morning we would sit out there and eat breakfast while watching kayak and boat tours park themselves out in the ocean right outside the property for their morning snorkeling excursions. This obviously also means that great snorkeling is just a short swim from the beach that you can see from the unit. One morning my husband swam with 4 sea turtles! The condo property is lush and extremely well maintained. I think I saw grounds crews working every day of our 9 day stay. The location of the property is wonderful. It's close to tons of restaurants and shops in Wailea and Kihei . Again, you cannot go wrong choosing this property. Our family had an amazing vacation, and we hope to return here again one day in the future!

Stunning location. Walking distance to what we thought was the best beach in the area, complete with a destination snorkeling area for sea turtles (we could even spot them from the balcony, once you knew how to look for them). I had to work part time, but after finishing my day it only took a few minutes on the balcony with the gorgeous views to be fully back in vacation mode. Hope we can visit again!

The snorkeling right in front of the unit is phenomenal (turtles!), and the beach next to it provided perfect boogie boarding waves for our kids all week long. All viewable from the patio! The grounds at Makena Surf are gorgeous, with lovely pools and nice tennis courts. Everything is well maintained and beautifully landscaped. The unit is impeccably decorated, with beautiful and comfortable furniture throughout, and very comfortable beds. The kitchen is well stocked, right down to a griddle for pancakes. We ate a lot of meals at the condo, as the sunsets from the patio were so stunning that we really didn't want to leave at dinnertime. The unit has every beach amenity -- boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, plenty of towels. Jayne was very responsive and wonderful to communicate with. We really cannot say enough nice things about this unit and the owners. Thank you, Jayne! We have every intention of returning.

The property was incredible - great layout and modern interior but the views and location are the best part. Beach access right there and the patio is incredible with the views of the ocean and other islands. The owners provide everything you need for your days at the beach - great beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, beach towels, snorkel gear, etc. They were great to work with and very responsive to questions. We can't say enough about the snorkeling right outside the unit, it's amazing. We saw sea turtles and dolphins each day. We would definitely come back - it was fantastic!

The Condo is in great shape, with all of the latest upgrades you could ask for. The Condo is directly on the water overlooking the best "Turtle" viewing spot on Maui. The waves are crashing 20 yards away from the (sheltered) Lanai and we spent most hours of the day right there. If you are bringing kids or the sand is more your style you are a 2 minute walk from a beautiful beach but it's just far enough away that the noise is not an issue and there is no one disturbing your view. The development is 5 minutes from the best restaurants on Maui but just far enough away that you don't feel a part of the hotel scene, although, the development's landscaping is equal to the best hotels on the Island. The owner, Jayne, was very responsive and easy to work with and we would book again without hesitation. *** If you are a runner- head south and hug the beach. About 2 miles down the road is 2 miles of the most spectacular ocean front running I have ever experienced - you could literally jump in (if you don't run 8 miles drive out and park- or just drive out for the scenery - breathtaking).

We absolutely loved unit F207! The kitchen has everything you could need, there are ample beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkel, and tennis gear. You can tell the owners love to cook as the quality of the pots and knives are very good. We especially loved the large assortment of wine glasses and the temperature controlled wine fridge, as well as having a bbq right on the lanai. There is also an herb garden by the bbqs near the pool. We would harvest fresh herbs for our meals. We made fantastic meals in the condo that rival anything you’d get at the fine dining restaurants in Wailea. We also rented bikes from Boss Frogs and would bike down to big beach early in the morning for fantastic beach runs. The only downside of this condo is we had to leave. Jayne is an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Beautiful oceanfront makena surf F207. Newly remodeled, comfy beds, kitchen well stocked including spices etc. We did rent one of the bigger umbrellas and 2 chairs as the umbrella at the unit was pretty small. Unit had boogie boards, and tennis rackets. The owner was easy to work with and the after hours staff helpful.

The Makena Surf was exactly what our family needed for a fun, active and relaxing vacation. We are a family of four with two teenage boys. We loved the location with the private beach, tennis courts and close to the Wailea golf. Sunset on the lanai after lots of activities was the perfect way to end the day. The condo came fully equipped for cooking and beach/tennis fun. We loved it and hope to go back! We have been to Maui multiple times and taken snorkeling boat tours that took us to the bay in front of the condo. So nice to be able to swim with the turtles and snorkel without having to get on a boat. It's all right there. This property over delivered. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

Sometimes pictures are better than reality, but not in this case. The views and the property are spectacular. We spent a lot of time snorkeling, sometimes right off the property (one of the best places is visible from our balcony), and if you go south just a few minutes, Maluaka Beach has spectacular snorkeling. Our kids boogie boarded at the beach in the evening. We had everything we needed at the condo. It's nice that there's a great selection of fins, masks, and snorkels, and there's a place to rent larger boogie boards just a few minutes away. The beach towels and chairs are a nice touch, too. We also found some really good restaurants close by, when we weren't cooking at the condo. Kitchen is very well equipped, again, we had everything we needed. We wanted to stay!

This is our second time staying here - had such a fabulous and relaxing time in 11/16 we decided to come back to celebrate our anniversary. Beautifully decorated, fully furnished kitchen and views that are unbeatable, this condo is truly loved by the owners. The complex is well maintained with lush gardens, friendly staff and it's very quiet - like being at home. We don't need the hustle bustle of a large hotel, poolside bar, music on the beach - we are here to relax! The beach is beautiful, steps away and never crowded. We did have an issue with housekeeping but with a call to management, is was handled quickly.

Pictures do not do this beautiful property justice. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend Makena Surf with no hesitations. The staff from the office personnel, maintenance to security were pleasant, helpful and professional. The condo was loaded with every amenity possible and it was clean and comfortable....but the view that we woke up to every single morning was spectacular, not to mention the awesome sunsets! We truly felt that we were in Paradise! The location couldn't be more perfect too and although we ventured to several other beaches, our little slice of paradise was the best for snorkeling, playing in the surf and just laying out on the sand. We would go out waist deep in the ocean and huge turtles would just swim by us. Our only complaint was that our 8 day stay just wasn't even close to being long enough. It truly was amazing!

This home is impeccably decorated in an ocean theme, bringing in the soothing colors you see outside. Everything we could want was included as if staying in a luxury hotel: cotton balls, swabs, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, lotion, tissues and coffee for the first morning's pot. The bed and bath linens were high quality. Kitchen appliances, pans and dishes were all top notch. Nice barware selection, wine fridge too. And it was extremely clean! Good snorkeling, gear included. Although F207 may be pricier than some other units at Makena Surf, in my opinion it's money well spent. I wish we would have based out entire stay from here. It is in our top two all time VRBO stays and would give it 6 stars if possible.

The condo was exactly as described and came with all the amenities one could ask for on vacation. We grilled steaks one evening, burgers another evening (on the private lanai). We borrowed the beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, snorkels/masks, and added a couple pairs of water shoes (men's sizes 10 and 12). One could not be disappointed with this property! We would definitely book again!

My husband and I along with my son and 11 year old granddaughter stayed for 8 nights in this fantastic condo. The condo itself is very nicely furnished and comfortable, especially the beds and pillows. The kitchen is well stocked with any small appliance you would need and bar ware and spices. We found the location to be absolutely perfect. It is very quiet and uncrowded (at least when we were there). The views from the lanai are incredible. You can see all the sea turtles playing and feeding in the rocks that are right in front of the condo. The beach is fantastic. When you have some surf, the boogie boarding is great (my granddaughter had a blast). And when the surf is calm, you can snorkel right from the beach and swim with the turtles. You don't even have to snorkel to see the turtles. They swim all the time right off the beach and feed off the rocks. Also, beach was NEVER crowded.Good restaurants close by in Wailea and Kihei as well as supermarkets. Loved our stay here and did not want to leave. Very beautiful and safe location. Hope we can make it back sometime.

We stayed for a week in May-2015 and found this amazing condo to be the perfect home base for exploring the rest that Maui has to offer or to just relax on the lanai with its spectacular views, the beach and enjoy the world-class snorkeling or at the pool and read a book. We even managed to play a little tennis with the courts never being busy. The condo is nicely furnished, has comfortable beds and is very well stock with plenty of extra towels (beach and bathroom). We are already dreaming of our next visit!

We stayed here for 10 nights Feb-2015 with our two sons (ages 12 & 14). This amazing condo exceeded our expectations! It is beautifully decorated, comfortably furnished and very clean. It is VERY well stocked and the location is great - close to shopping/restaurants or touring the island. It is also nice that is a gated community - very secure and quiet. The views from the lanai are spectacular - we did a lot of whale watching from there. The Makena Surf beach was great - we snorkeled right out in front of the condo and saw lots of turtles (other snorkel tour operators bring their boats to this spot!) and kayaked/paddleboarded. The owner was very easy to deal with through out the whole process and the local property manager was very helpful. We will definitely stay at this condo again - highly recommend!

What a wonderful birthday getaway we had! The condo was perfect, and included everything you might need for a week+ stay...blender, ice maker, coffee grinder, integrated entertainment system, gas grill on lanai, wine glasses, internet, etc. And best of all everything worked! We stay in vacation rentals a few times a year and functional appliances is something you can't take for granted. Beds, sofas and deck chairs were all fresh and comfortable. The views were spectacular. Breakfast, mid-day drinks and dinners on the lanai were peaceful and scenic. We watched whales, waves crashing, sunsets and rainbows from the lanai, which made it hard to leave. But beach, pool, hot tub, gardens, kayaking and snorkeling awaited just steps away. While snorkeling right in front of the condo, we saw giant green sea turtles and a host of other marine creatures. WOW. I can't think of anything else we could have asked for...PERFECT!

BEAUTIFUL is the word our family uses describes our stay here. From the first contact to the last contact, you will know that you are in good hands. The owners are fantastic and super sweet. The property manager was a great help before and after we arrived and even called to check on us the day after our arrival. Once you open the front door and immediately see the ocean, your breath will be taken away. The pictures cannot fully display just how beautiful this condo is. It is absolutely gorgeous. The decor, full amenities, and tons of extras are just a few of the highlights in the condo. You will not be disappointed. There is an herb garden that is amazing and a large chest on the porch with lots of toys for playing on the beach. Anything you want, is there, from beach towels, to tennis rackets, to batteries for the flameless candles on the lanai - it's all there!! We plan to return to Hawaii in 2015 and although we will visit the big island and not Maui on that visit, we will definitely stay here when we do return to Maui. No doubt about it.

Thanks for a great vacation. From a coffee on the lanai waiting for the day to break offering delightful views over the ocean to land masses that form a wonderful picture to sipping a glass of wine while taking in the most spectacular sun setting down below the calming sea the condo was perfect. Hard to leave as every day we enjoyed watching swimmers, snorkelers and paddle boarders as well as turtles and even a couple of dolphins - right below us. But the condo is also well located in quiet and peaceful Wailea right across the road from great golf course and a short distance from classy shopping and a mix of fine restaurants. The condo is well-appointed and comfy and new appliances helped make dining 'at home' a pleasant experience. Can't say enough about the resort that offers beautifully-kept tropical walkways, swimming and tennis, as well as a very friendly and helpful staff.

We have just nicely returned from two wonderful weeks staying at Makena Surf at this beautiful condo. My husband and I have travelled to many places in the world but our two weeks in Maui are at the top of the list. The condo accomodations are first rate. Comfortable beds, tasteful furnishings, fully stocked modern kitchen, it was like a home away from home. We ate many meals on the lanai overlooking the ocean. What a view of those gorgeous Hawaii sunsets! The snorkelling is right off the beach featuring different varieties of coral and fish with dozens of green sea turtles. There was not a day that we weren't swimming with these incredible creatures. The last day was indeed amazing as we encountered a group of 6 spotted eagle rays who seemed to enjoy our company, lazily swimming back and forth underneath us. What a way to end a perfect 2 weeks. The condo complex is nicely situtated in Wailea allowing you to explore the entire island and not feel rushed. The grounds are beautiful and impecably maintained, the staff friendly and helpful. Stayed for a week at this wonderful condo in Maui. Unbeatable patio! We had all of meals on the very spacious patio and it is the perfect place to watch the sunset. The condo has everything you could possibly need for a great stay, lovely furnishings, very comfotable beds, new appliances, and kitchen stocked with the enough tools to keep any chef happy. The owners and property manager are lovely and helpful to deal with and went out of their way to ensure a great vacation. This is a fantastic location if you like a little quiet, but lots of activity including snorkeling, whale watching, beach, sunbathing, pool, hot tub, tennis and golf (across the street). The grounds at the property are like a tropical garden and are maintained in pristine condition. Just a walk around the property can relieve months of pent up stress! It is also very near some fantastic dining (Joe's, Tommy Bahamas, Gannon’s and more) and shopping at Shops at Wailea. Our condo was everything it is advertised to be and the amenities are wonderful. We appreciated the comfortable beds with upscale sheets, crystal wine glasses, great assortment of cook ware, top notch blender and grille on the lanai. The furniture, both inside and out, was very comfortable and conducive to a long relaxing stay. Wi-Fi and TV were super. The snorkeling right off shore was my favorite. There is gorgeous coral and lots of reef fish. I also spotted a baby octopus and a snowflake moray eel. But most of all I loved swimming with the giant green sea turtles that live there. I saw at least three every time I was in the water. And what a bargain! The snorkeling is free! This is a site within swimming distance to another (Turtle Town) that dive operators charge over $100 to visit by boat! The owners were very easy to deal with, even though they are remote, and check-in was a breeze. What better way to spend the end of a busy day than sitting on the lanai overlooking the beach and ocean, listening to the waves and watching the sun set with a glass of wine or a Mai Tai in hand...starting to day dream again....wish I was there now!

Unit F207 is a premier unit in one of the premier locations on the island. From the moment you walk into the unit, you will feel the magic as the huge balcony (lanai) has the most magnificent view of the water which can also be enjoyed from the living and dining rooms as well as from the well equipped kitchen. My son and I, enjoyed snorkeling with the turtles right in front of the condo. Turtle Town, a location that brings boats with snorkelers and divers to swim with turtles, is a simple 100 yard swim away -- but having done both, the snorkeling right in front of the condo was just as nice and much less busy. My lady enjoyed walking the grounds taking photos of the exotic flora and picking spices from the spice garden for our next meal on the lanai. If you want a special meal out, we recommend Nick's Fish Market. It is only a five minute drive from the condo. The food and service is extraordinary. Last, let me say the owners of the condo as well as the manager were a delight to work with. They do truly want their guests to have a wonderful time. I look forward to enjoying this little piece of paradise many times in the future!

Visited the this condo in Makena for four nights. The condo itself was beautifully appointed with tasteful decor, modern furnishings and extremely comfortable beds. Like staying in a 4* hotel! Terrific BBQ on the Lanai where you have a front row seat to watch the whales play and the sun set. The beach is a 2 minute walk, and what a beach! Small, safe waves perfect for boogie boarding and lttle ones. Fantastic coral reef directly in front of the unit! Some of the finest, softest sand imaginable. This place is perfect for anybody and everybody. You can spend day after day at the complex or take a short drive to terrific restaraunts, shopping and golf. Been fortunate enough to travel the world and stay at many fine locations. Would choose this place over nearly all others. Thank you to the owners for sharing their great condo. As a family vacation to Maui with two small girls, we found Jayne's Condo to be absolutely spectacular. It was summed up as we walked into the Condo upon arrival, looked out over the lanai, and saw the tail of a humback whale slipping into the water about a quarter mile away, upon which my wife started chanting, "there's a whale, there's a whale". For interaction with sea life, Turtle Town is right in front of you where sea turtles surface to breath and then sleep on the bottom. In addition, the whales traffic right in front of the condo where the whales breach, slap their tails, and sing. Finally, you readily see other sights such as the spinner dolphins jumping and spinning. All of this is easily accessible from either the living room, the lanai, the front lawn, or the beach. For accomodations, my seven year old daughter summed it up when she said, "this is so luxurious". The condo itself has been nicely renovated and updated, which the pictures do some justice. And the lanai is right on the water with an incredible view of Molokini to Lanai to Kihei. Plus there is always the pool and jacuzzi that the children love to combine into their post-beach day that is right outside the door. Finally, the grounds a kept up beautifully with the lush flora and landscaping. Having stayed in West Maui before, we found South Maui centrally located and more convenient for exploring the entire island. The beaches are superb and protected from the trade winds. Plus there is the dry aspect of Makena's location, which provides for a feeling of Kona or the dry-side of the other islands. Bottom line is that Jayne's condo is a wonderful place to spend a week both because of the wonderful accomodations, because of the specatular location, as well as because of the spectacular support team of Christin and Muriel.

Great location to get away from it all. This condo was great for our family, the beach and pool are a barefoot stroll away. The snorkelling off the beach is great with lots to see, especially the turtles. The condo has been recently upgraded with everything you would need for a hassle free vacation. The on Island couple who manage the condo are great, they are just a phone call away, we had a small issue and it was fixed the same day. The Webber BBQ on the Lanai is very convienent when dining in.The property and grounds are maintained to a very high standard, lots of parking available. Overall this is one of the best properties to stay at in all of Maui, we have stayed at many condos, and hotels over the last 25 years. I wish I was sitting on the lanai there now, having a cup of joe ,watching the sky lighten up and the whales out front of the unit. Make sure you bring some binoculars for the whales.

We stayed two weeks and loved every day of it. The pictures on here are great, but they still don't do the view justice. The condo was decorated with high end furniture and electronics, and has been recently been renovated. Makena Surf is very lush and has beautiful landscaping, everything is very well maintained and the buildings look new despite their age. I could be at the pool with kids in a 30 seconds, and a few minutes to the beach. You can't beat that! Also I had an excellent time snorkeling daily in the mornings and I could literally wave at my wife and kids who were sitting at the lanai 60 feet away. Priceless.

Great accommodation with all our needs at hand; just 30 paces from the pool and a few more yards to two beaches. We recommend breakfast at Longhi's in Shops of Wailea; Happy Hour and dinner at the Wailea golf course clubhouse; and lunch on the sunny condo lanai looking out across the water to Kaho'olawe.
