The villa’s open floor plan provides beautifully designed areas for loved ones to gather together, as well as ample space for privacy. The heart of the home centers around a modern and sleek kitchen with top-of-the line appliances, including an expansive Wolf gas range and built-in Sub-Zero refrigerator. A white marble waterfall island also provides counter seating for four, and a dining table for 10 overlooks the verdant gardens. A comfortable den with a flat-screen TV sits adjacent to an outdoor seating and dining area, showcasing and celebrating Kauai’s indoor-outdoor lifestyle. Generous outdoor seating arrangements and covered lanais allow guests to take full advantage of the long, sunny days along Kauai’s south shore. The large pool has two chaise lounges on the reading ledge.
The villa’s four bedrooms sleep a total of eight guests, with king beds in three of the bedrooms and the fourth bedroom equipped with two twin beds. Each of Kilohana Makai’s three full en-suite bathrooms has a private lava-rock outdoor shower as well as an indoor shower, and one of the bathrooms features a deep-soaking freestanding tub with sliding lanai doors.
